Recreation Center Rules Reminder
The entire Recreation Center does NOT allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages while visiting.  This includes the pools, fitness room, small and large meeting rooms.   Also, there are no glass containers allowed on the pool deck -- think Snapple Ice Tea. The pool area is closed each night at 10:00 P.M. no matter how hot the weather.  Please make sure you have exited the pool area by that time.  On nights when it is particularly windy, it is greatly appreciated when you close up the table umbrella.
Please review the 2017 Pool Rules to make sure you and your family understand the expectations while at the WLOA pools.   Pool Rules
As with all rules, should any rule be broken the consequences may be loss of pool, clubhouse, and voting privileges. We sincerely don't want to go down that road, so be well informed by reading and adhering to all WLOA CCR's and various rules.
Drone Use in Willamette Landing
The FAA carefully regulates what types of drones or unmanned aircraft can be flown in a 5-mile radius of airports; specifically for drones that weigh between .5 and 55 pounds. As much of South Corvallis is less than 5 miles from the Corvallis Municipal Airport, be sure to check the FAA website before flying any type of drone in any legally-sanctioned area.  https://www.faa.gov/uas/faqs/
Willamette Landing CCR 6.3 states: "No noxious or offensive activities shall be carried on upon the Property, nor shall anything be done or placed on the Property which interferes with or jeopardizes the enjoyment of the Property, or which is a source of annoyance to Owners and occupants.  No unlawful use shall be made of the property nor any part thereof, and all valid laws, zoning ordinances and regulations of all governmental bodies having jurisdiction over Property shall be observed.
The Resolution Regarding Use of Association Property states: "Association Common Areas, which include the clubhouse, pool, parking areas and common area land may be used for any event approved by an Association Board or Committee.  Common areas shall not be used for any purpose which is not related to an approved activity."
So please be a good neighbor:
  • Fly your drone where it is legal to do so and where you have permission (e.g. someone’s back yard).
  • Keep your drone in your line of sight and be in control.
  • Fly during daylight hours and preferably not prior to 9am.
  • Do NOT fly in the clubhouse parking area as this activity is not an approved activity.

Garbage Cans and Items Visible from the Street
Garbage cans MUST be off the street/sidewalk no later than Monday mornings AND shall be in the Owner’s garage or shed or out of sight.  Please make sure you are taking care of this responsibility so your neighbor doesn't feel the need to remind you.  Also, all other items, toys, bikes, car parts, etc. should also be kept in a garage or shed, but again, out of sight from the street.  (Refer to CC&R 6.15). 
Maintenance of Structures
Members of the Board of Directors and the Architectural Review Committee will review homes within WLOA to make sure they area clean and attractive, and in good repair.  (Refer to CC&R 6.5) They will be looking at such items as condition of the paint in the body of your house, the condition of the paint trim, condition of the painted box board/shingles, moss on the roof or algae on siding or windows, and the condition of gutters and downspouts.  This review will not happen until the weather does dry out somewhat.  Should your home need maintenance, you will receive the information via USPS and/or email. Some of the "easier" maintenance projects have typically been given a date of September 1st for completion; a full paint of your home has typically been given 15 months to complete.
