These rules are to promote a safe and enjoyable pool experience for all residents of Willamette Landing Owners Association (hereafter WLOA) and to support a fun, safe and healthy environment for the WLOA neighborhood and their guests.  Any violation of these rules by any Resident may result in the temporary suspension of pool privileges. A second suspension will result in the revocation of pool privileges for the remainder of the pool season. All violations are subject to review by the Board.
  1. Pools use is for WLOA residents and a maximum of 6 guests at a time. Residents must accompany guests at all times while at the pool. Residents are responsible for the actions of their family and guests. Disorderly conduct, profanity or other offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
  2. Residents and guests must enter and exit the pool area using their key card only. Residents are not to leave gates unlocked or allow entry without key cards.  Unauthorized use of this facility is considered trespassing and violators will be prosecuted. 
  3. Residents and their guests swim at their own risk. WLOA does not assume any responsibility for accident or injury associated with the use of the Willamette Landing pools. There is no lifeguard on duty.
  4. WLOA is a smoke-free/drug-free/tobacco-free environment.  No use or consumption of any such product is allowed on premises. Neither consumption of alcohol nor any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs is allowed in the pool facility or Recreation Center.
  5. Children under 14 years must be accompanied and supervised by a resident/member who is an adult age 18 or older. There must be one adult for every four children under 14 years. Groups of six or more youth (14 to 17 years) must be supervised by an adult.  Pool Monitors reserve the right to restrict admittance of an unaccompanied child.
  6. Pool hours are 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Lap swim is from 8:00- 9:00 am and 9:00 – 10:00 pm daily. All residents and guests must vacate the pool area by 10:00 p.m.
  7. No person with an infectious or communicable disease may use the pool(s). Open wounds must be covered with a water-proof bandage.
  8. All persons must shower each time before they enter either pool.  Adults and children shall use the restroom for clothing changes. 
  9. Proper swim attire must be worn at all times. Skinny-dipping is prohibited.
  10. Any incontinent persons must wear a swim diaper.  A resident may be assessed damages attributable to an “accident.”
  11. Report pool contamination of any bodily fluids to the Pool Monitor or the WLOA office immediately. Pool contamination may result in closure of the pool for a minimum of 24 hours.
  12. Running, pushing, diving, horseplay is prohibited on the deck and in the pool. “Rough-house play” in the small pool is prohibited as it is typically used for the babies and young children.
  13. Glass containers, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades, or pets are prohibited on the pool deck. 
  14. Strollers and wagons must be stored against the pool fence (preferably outside), out of the normal pool deck walk-way.
  15. No littering. Clean up any spilled food or drink and properly dispose of all trash.
  16. Any items left behind will be placed in the Lost & Found tub.  Any items remaining at the end of each month will be donated to a local re-use center.
  17. Only small one-person flotation devices, pool balls, or toys are permitted. No glitter items.
  18. For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn when entering the Recreation Center to use bathrooms.
  19. Bathing suits are prohibited inside the Club House with the exception of the bathrooms.
  20. All audio devices are prohibited unless they are used with personal ear phones.
